Best Breville Toasters for Function

one of my biggest hesitations about the breville, aside from humorous price, was the reviews suggesting it was unable to toast evenly.

the price of this breville is a bit hard to take, however it performs beautifully and is built like the sturdy toasters i remember as a kid while having very modern features.

this breville 4-slice brushed stainless toaster has replaced a 2-slice proctor-silex toaster that i got as a gift (ready for this?) 43 years ago!

after several years with disappointing toaster results from other manufacturers, i figured that i had nothing to lose by trying the 4-slice breville toaster.
