Best Black & Decker Toaster Ovens With Toast Darkness Control

it cooks frozen pizza, nuggets and even cookies so much faster than the regular oven.

i have used it for chicken, cookies, rolls, biscuits.

i have had this oven for about 5 months and have used it for everything: from hot dogs, to burgers, steaks, apple pie, frozen foods and even my own recipes.

i use a microwave/convection oven combo to cook frozen foods, etc...

when i really checked it out at the store, i realized, that it was even better, since it was a convection oven, besides having the functions of a regular toaster oven.

if all directions are followed it works great - it is a "convection oven" not just a no bells & whistles "toaster oven".

the convection fan is far more quiet than our previous oven and beeping when pressing buttons is somewhat startling when you first press it.

i bought this convection oven today and used it this evening.

the bottom line: recommend for general use, light baking or reheating.

there is no real broiler pan, just the baking pan and the wire rack used for the toast.

this toaster -- bought for its convection feature, lasted me about 11 mos and the convection fan went out 2 mos before the entire oven stopped working.

seems to have plenty of heat for baking.

the convection setting makes things cook quickly, so you have to be careful and check on food before the timer goes off until you get used to it.

use common sense when convection cooking because things cook faster (like they're supposed to) and the broiler will flash a flame or two if oil/fat splatters up there.

it also has a loud buzzing sound while baking anything.
