I was replacing another DeLonghi which I have had for several years and like. The new one is terrible. from Cooking.com Replaced my 8 year old 4-slice Toaster Oven by DeLonghi with this new Stainless model. It's the best yet. from Cooking.com After dealing with a cheap Black & Decker, I wanted a better toaster-oven. I had had DeLonghi before and knew it to be a good brand. from Cooking.com The DeLonghi Toaster Over is a piece of junk. I have a cheapie toaster oven right now. from Amazon.com This is a cheaply made, badly designed and completely unsatisfactory excuse for a toaster oven. Delonghi should be ashamed of producing it. from Amazon.com I returned 2 of them due to defective design. The first one that arrived had a defective knob which I would have had Delonghi replace but following the enclosed instructions for making toast, the lower element did not come on until well into the cycle so the top burned while the bottom was not toasted at all.
