Crumb catcher is nice -- easy to remove and clean. The knobs are a bit chintzy -- silver plastic, but the body is really good looking. Looks nice with our other steel appliances. Ticks pretty loudly as it's toasting, then dings, so you know when your toast it ready. from Homedepot.com I really hated this toaster. After 1 month the timer stopped working. I called Delonghi and they told me to take it to an authorized service center which was luckily down the street from my work. The buttons/dials are made of plastic-not metal and are very flimsy. As far as cooking...well, if you like to wait 7-10 minutes to toast your english muffin, then go for it.
