When you turn the timer knob the heating elements do not come on. Wouldn't recommend purchasing this model. And I have to agree with the other reviews that cooking and toasting took longer than it should. It was a great size though! from Target.com Pros: Convection oven works well Cons: Toasting is worthless; timer is worthless;no turn off when door opened; WORTHLESS; DON'T BUY from Shopping.com I absolutely loved this toaster oven. Don't listen to the other reviewers who said that "this thing cant make toast." any thing you would normally cook in a full size oven, can be made in this. from Target.com It gets extremely HOT and have burnt myself on the outside a couple times. Everytime I cook in it everything burns even though temp and time are correct. I worry about the fire potential with it due to the extreme heat of the outside and back. I wish I would not have sold my old one. from Target.com Didn't need a convection oven. I felt like Eric Forman not asking for an eight-track player and getting one nonetheless... from Amazon.com Having the need for an oven in our RV (we travel full time) the Euro Pro TO 1612 toaster oven at Target caught our eye, the price was right, and we purchased it. Upon noticing the high heat on the outside which was melting a plastic water bottle, I checked the rest of the unit to find that it was extremely hot. The recipe book that came with it was gluing to the top, and I was afraid that it was too close to the rest of our wall. Then I noticed that the knobs were not lined up correctly, and then the timer did not ring at the end of the time we set. from Amazon.com I received the EuroPro toaster as a gift from my family. The first thing that caught our attention was the incorrectly spelled POEWR--should be POWER. from Amazon.com It did smoke a bit on first cycle as was expected from the attached note saying this would occur the first time it was was used. Just followed the directions and that was that. It is a large size, big enough to cook a 12" pizza, without weighing a ton. I have made perfect toast on the middle rack and Grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. from Amazon.com
