Best Telescopes for Fun

scope is great functionally.

the finder scope serves no usefull function that i can tell and is not adjustable (as far as i can tell).

clouds aren't very interesting through any eyepiece, but it is certainly fun to play around with this scope regardless of the weather (except in the rain of course).

i got this telescope to replace my old 60mm refractor which had fungal growth at the objective lens.

it's actually fun to use and does all the tracking and locating work for you.

finding stars was not a problem and zooming with different eyepieces was fun.

the goto function works as intended, and the large apperture in dark locales out of the city glow allows me to see deep space objects far better than i had hoped.

we don't have a panoramic view of the sky from our deck, but the skyalign function worked great right out of the box.

we've had a lot of fun with this little scope and i'm happy with the purchase.

this telescope looks good, and functions reasonably well for the price.

identifying and finding objects in the sky and using the information to simulate the sky, objects, events, phenomenon etc is part of the fun for using such a program.

the 102 slt is way more fun than my other two, and the easist telescope i've ever used.

then of course the computerized "go to" capabilities of the scope increases the fun by a tremendous amount.
