my only gripes about it is the accessory tray only holds five eyepieces and the handscrew on the mount is awkward.

only thing i would have to say negatively about this unit is the mount that holds it to the goto device - mine slid off one night as the vibrations of the movement loosened the screw clamping the

the fact that the scope is only attached to the mount by one side (instead of two, like many other mounts) makes the telescope more likely to oscillate.

great optics, but the goto mount is incredably difficult to get right (easy to use, but hard to actually "make it work").

if you must use aa batteries in the cold, take the ot outside to cool but leave the mount, control and finderscope indoors so the batteries stay at optimal temperature as long as possible.

double check that the tightening screw that secures the optical tube to the mount is tight every time you use the scope.
