The low power eyepiece is fairly useful, the higher power one less so, and don't even think of using the barlow. The maximum useful magnification for a 60mm scope is about 120-140x, assuming the objective lens is of good quality. It's fine for peeking into the neighbor's window across the street or looking at the a large, bright object in the sky like the moon. from Amazon.com Just a short addendum to my previous firstscope review.

I added a Celestron 2x Barlow lens from amazon via adorama.

This increases the magnification using the 10mm lense to 140x.

Unfortunately, at 140x, the scope doesn't provide sharp focus of viewed objects.
