this is my second scope from meade and the lenses are interchangeable.

a small item (but a good indicator of quality) was that the meade sticker on the side of the mount clamp was upside down.

thus, i am left with either a completely nonfunctional telescope or i can have a completely unaligned one.i returned the base/computer/arm to meade for replacement and was sent another dud.
