We have iffy power that seems to flicker for no real reason. We have used UPS on our computers, but with the Tivo, we found that the power would be off for a moment, and the Tivo would re-boot, taking 5-10 minutes. If this was at a time when it was not active, there was no problem, but during a show that was being recorded, we would lose quite a chunk of program. from Amazon.com Someone at APC chose to omit the mounting holes from this unit.
