Bought (2) WD 80GB drives here. Knew that one would be mounted behind 120mm intake fan. from Tigerdirect.com dropped my hard drive temp almost 10 C!!, this is well worth the price. from Tigerdirect.com I have a Dell Dimension 4700 that has the well documented “reverse” fan issue. After cleaning the heatsink and putting down fresh thermal compound, my Dell still ran at excessive temperatures. After installing this fan (I had to drill new holes to get it to fit properly) my hard drive temperature dropped from 50+ degrees to a more modest 39. In my humble opinion, this fan is hardly silent, but it does get the job done. from Tigerdirect.com This twin fan setup was a joke to install and works very nicely my Seagate HDD drive dropped 23 degrees C and stays at 31 C constant...
