I have this chill mat and have running it almost continualy for the last year and it is still going strong. from Tigerdirect.com I would highly recommend this product. Some cooling pads add additional USB ports. The downside of those cooling pads however seems to be the need for an external AC adapter. from Tigerdirect.com Pros: Yes its smaller than a 15.4 notebook. Plastic is flimsy and if you put force on the laptop and the fans it will pinch and the fans will scrape. The only time this happens is if I grab the notebook and cooler from the side otherwise it never happens. from Newegg.com Pros: Keeps laptop cool.
