This is a great product, though it didn't fix all my issues. I wanted hidden power (check!), surge protection (check!), and clean power not reduce the hum from my Kuro display (um, not so much). However, I just think that means that it's not the power supply, but the plasma display that's causing the issue. from Crutchfield.com After reading the Blu-ray blogs I wanted to install a separate 20amp circuit for my new Sony 46XBR8 and other hifi components. I purchased the monster inwall power center and had an electrician come in to install it. He had to use a metal receptacle instead of the plastic one to meet code. from Crutchfield.com I changed mine out to an HDMI connection plate purchased through Crutchfield. The flexibility is there should you wish to add additional connections in the future. The power cord supplied did not quite fit my Sony TV as well as I would have liked but it worked. Could have also used the power cord that came with the TV. from Crutchfield.com The Monster MP HTFS-IW HC In Wall Power Center was a logical choice for my new Sharp LCD TV. I mounted the PowerCenter on the wall and used an optional (did not come with) HDMI in-wall dual outlet in place of the provided coax connectors plate. from Amazon.com This great little product saves me lots of space. I have one of Monster's high end surge protectors and line conditioners as well. There is only about 1.5 inches clearance between the wall and the television set and I didn't want any exposed wires. from Amazon.com Flat receptable plug in for behind t.v. is a great idea, but the other end would not fit in my Panasonic with the bump out on the end. Contacted Monster cable on their web page,and asked them for information if they had any that would fit into my Panasonic, and they did not respond.
