Although I agree with the previous reviewers, I have to give this 2 stars because the "sit" part is extremely entertaining for my 9 month old son and he loves that part of it. There really aren't any walkers out there for this price that have such a great play area (dashboard & piano, lights & sounds, buttons & knobs, and teaches animals and colors).
Grandma would never regret buying this toy for her 1st grand daughter's birthday. I will recommend this for every baby who starts to stand & sit.
I bought this for my son, he loves it and plays with it all the time. But the turning key broke after only two months, and the wheel in the middle stopped working after about three months as well as the number five.
I bought this toy for my ten month old, when the toy is in the walker stage I found if she looses her balance the toy tips back ontop of her.
I had the same problem as the last reviewer...my daughter fell over backwards 3 times and cracked her head because there was no brake going backwards and she pulled the whole thing on top of her and it hit her in the face. This should NOT be on the shelves.
I never used this as a walker (there is a lock), I got this for my grandson when he was 8 mo. and it never fell on him.
I'm not sure why this walker is getting such bad reviews, my son absolutely loved it and we never had an issue with it falling. I had a Fisher-Price activity walker with my daughter and although she loved it, it didn't last for my son to use and they are only 18 months apart.
Its not been 3 hrs since I got this product. After assembly, when my 9 month old stood supporting it and started walking, she couldnt balance, coz the wheels didn't have a brake when pulled towards the infant(backwards),and she fell and the whole toy toppled over her, bruising her eye. I recommend this product change its feature of having a safety brake while being pulled backwards or be recalled inorder to avoid other accidents such as these.
Like most reviewers, my child can pull up to stand on his own. After he can crawl and can stand on his own, he got tired of the big sit-in type of walkers.
My daughter is 2 and still plays with this walker. We loved this toy because her feet did not hit anything when she walked.
