After reading several other reviews, and having my daughter BEG for the toy based on the TV ads, I bought the Polar Bear (I think the Panda is cuter, but couldn't find it). I got it on sale - regularly nearly $50.00, but I got it for under $30.
As an adult, I think this little guy is cute, but my 3 year old daughter is absolutely terrified of it. She demands that it is always turned off and must stay in another room. I don't know what it is about the bear that makes her scared. All I have to do is threaten to get the bear and she does whatever I say.
At first I was not very impressed especially with the Panda bear(black+white) I felt it from the box opening and it felt very fragile and not cuddly at all!..but my son insisted the the Polar bear was the one he really really wanted, so I got it when he was at school and test it of course:.. I was surprised of how cute the white one is and pretty sturdy I have to say, the mecanisms are mostly on the inside and they only reach half of the bear harms so they can be bented or squeezed without damaging but then again the real test will be when my all boy son gets it!
For christmas I bought 2 cubs the polar bear and Panda. My girls are ages 3 and 5.
Hi. Iam Melissa age 10, and love my gift. Its like having a baby and bear all in one. Its a great bed time snuggle-up for me.when i tore the x-mas wrapping, i was thrilled with what was free from the wrapping.
I am 11 and I just got this toy today it is so cute and fun, but can sometimes get anoying like when it keeps asking for hugs over and over. Over all it is a great toy.
They both LOVE them. They are so cute. Everyone that sees these bears loves them. Excellent value, Super quick shipping.
I bought the Fur Real Polar Bear (I wanted the Panda, but that appears to be sold out all over the place) for my daughter to store away as a Christmas present. Well, her birthday was recently, so I of course broke down and gave it to her.
I bought this for my three year old and her one year old sister. I purchased the GO GO dog last Christmas and we were SO disappointed so Iwasn't so sure about getting the bear. Turns out the girls really like to play with him and he is easy enough to work with that my one year old likes to help feed him and hold him too.
I bought this toy for my three year old daughter for Christmas, since she loves toys like this. He definately works but she is absolutely terrified of him, I had never seen her react this way to anything before. The bear had to spend the night in the basement so he would be no where her sight, so needless to say he will be making a trip back to the store. I think this toy if for an older child
