i can also push it on grass with one hand because the ride is so smooth.
i go to the beach often and this is great for the beach terrain.
with the rubber tires and shocks, my children never woke up while they were in it, even when i went off the paved road onto dirt or grass.
if i had to list my favorite characteristics, they would be (1) very versatile handling, even with a wagon full with baby and groceries, you can manouver tight corners with one hand (2) easy
it handles bumps, uneven sidewalks, and even off-roading in grass and somewhat rocky terrain like a champ.
i have a fairly inexpensive baby trend single jogger which has a hand brake, and it's so handy when going down hills.
my husband loved that it pushes so easy in the grass on gravel and anywhere else!
my wife and i both agree that this truly is the only stroller you need for jogging, walking, trail hiking (within reason), shopping, etc.
i now have three daughters (5, 3 and 3 mos)and wanted something great for outside walks but also to use in malls.
the suspension system make for a very smooth ride even over rougher sidewalks, grass, etc.
for a double, it was an absolute dream to push around the parks.
our 5 year old loved being in it and 1 year old took every nap while crusing around the parks.
it fits through standard doorways, is quite easy to push and steer with one hand (over grass as well), and the canopy coverage is great.
occasionally, i need to go through grass, gravel, snow, and ice.
i've solved this issue by purchasing hiker's hooks to use for my groceries.
love the stroller and it's ability to handle all terains(hilly dirt hiking trails, beach runs and smaller rocky areas) but it is big!!
we live at the beach and it works great in the sand.
it's perfect to jog at the beach !
a must have stroller for the active outdoor family.
getting to town is difficult, getting outside is essential.
i'm not a jogger, but it has been perfect for our walks in the neighborhood, to the park and at outside malls.
the first one only lasted a year, but we used it a lot--especially because we're in nyc (so it gets a lot of outdoor time).
62 yo grandma took it on a jaunt around the park - up hills and down, all over different terrains: gravel, grass, broken concrete.
we bought this stroller to take on an 11 day trip to florida--7 days in disney and a few days at the beach.
i used this thing all the time, i am only using the skate for walks outside.
my favorite thing about this stroller is that it rolls so well on grass and uneven surfaces.
my right outside wheel doesn't work and it doesn't have a beverage holder, that aside i am crazy about it!
great for outdoor walks as well.
if i put my 5 year-old up front the front-to-back was impossible to push, especially up or across a hill.
this stroller has been great--it's relatively easy to push (except, of course, over grass, but that's only to be expected since it wasn't designed for that), pushes fine even with only one child in
we moved to a suburb near the beach and wanted a stroller that could withstand long walks through the neighborhood on sidewalks and grass and also make it through the sand.
it is very easy to push and turn and i love it for outdoor use.

i understand that it needs to be soft for your little one but they could put it to the outside of the stroller towards you that way it won't get in the way of your little one standing or getting
i have not used it "off road" like at a fair, trade show or other indoor/outdoor event so i am not sure how it wheels on dirt/grass.
downsides: i wouldn't recommend it for "off roading" - even in grassy areas.
we use the bob double stroller for big walks outside and purchased the joovy for the airport.
still, i'd much rather deal with renting a stroller on the few occasions we go to theme parks rather than always lugging around a heavy double stroller with 2 full seats
i was the type of dad, that did'nt take his son outside because of the color of his stroller.
we recently went to the beach and used it on the sand.
my husband and i like to hike, walk, and once in a while run/jog.
i'm not a jogger...but an outdoors person.
pros: easy to assembleaffordablecomfy for kidslarge wheels great for the beach
you can even push it thru grass and sand with the fron wheel locked.
i have not gotten the chance to use it in grass, but if it goes over our dirt roads it should easily go in grass.
we've even gone on hikes in the woods with it!
i would definitely recommend this stroller to anyone who does a lot of outdoor walking.
really convenient for when you have multiple kids and need to load lots of things like beach towels, food, etc.
their traditional stroller is now packed away and the bob is used for all outside adventures
it is great for running or even hiking off road.
the stroller is so easy to push (up and down hills and over rough areas) and the brake works very well.
i recommend the drink holder and the rain shield for maximum comfort and convenience, especially if you are an outdoorsy, active family.
the handlebar is ergonomic for both my husband (who is 6 feet) and myself (5 feet 7 inches), and we really appreciate the light aluminum frame on those up hills.
