it definitely beats two single strollers or those side-by-side or tandem strollers.
we really enjoy our tandem stroller.
it's on the heavy side, but no more so than any other tandem stroller.
it's about the same as any double/tandem stroller...
it is the best tandem stroller i have ever used.
overall i love this stroller and i like the colors and that the tires are not cheap plastic and that it will last us longer than a conventional double tandem!!!
we bought this tandem stroller a few months ago and i love it!
we were given a tandem stroller, with one seat in front of the other, and i could barely turn or push the thing - it was awful!
i bought a "saftey 1st" tandem stroller and at first it was great but as the twins got bigger the tandem stroller got harder and harder to push, eventually it was so difficult that my wrists would
i can steer with one hand and drink coffee with the other which is unheard of with a tandem stroller.
it is so much lighter than our graco tandem now that the girls are 10 months old.
both my 2 year old and 6 month old like the stroller, which was not the case with our graco tandem.
it almost seems to push itself at times, much better than a tandem graco we used to have.
this is where i found exactly what i had invisioned - the contours option tandem stroller by kolcraft , in ruby.this stroller has been one of the best baby product purchases i have made in a while.

if you're looking for a tandem but worried about paying the extra hundred bucks over the sit-n-stand (or even the extra $70 over the regular joovy), i would say it's worth it.
otherwise, this is a great stroller for those parents looking for an alternative to the side by side or long tandems.
it is pretty lightweight for a tandem and there is plenty of storage space.
it is very easy to maneuver, and shorter than a traditional tandem.
with a large two year old and a newborn, i was sure that i would end up with one of the big heavy tandems- but i gave the joovy a shot and i am so glad i did.
however, i didn't want a tandem stroller for fear that my son would not have good visiblity.

the bottom line: for a tandem stroller for kids of different ages, this is the best!

i get thru doors nicely unlike my big double tandem stroller which had wide back wheels that always got caught in the doorways.
i love that it's side-by-side (much easier to push and maneuver than tandem strollers, but still fits through doors), and that it doesn't have those ugly plastic snack trays.
i can steer with one hand and drink coffee with the other which is unheard of with a tandem (front/back) stroller.
