the wheels are sturdy and reliable, we go over grass, concrete, and indoor surfaces no problem, but i wouldnt recomend you using this on "rough terrain".

the wheels wobble a bit, i dont trust it on anything more than a cracked sidewalk or the street, no, not even grass.
