Pros: Compact, streamlined, sturdy, great maneuverability, and spacious Cons: Harness problems/difficulties, heavy The Bottom Line: The Maclaren Twin Techno is not perfect. It has its quirks but still exceeds expectations when compared to its competitors. from Shopping.com it's easy to steer and fold, not much different from a single stroller. it has an avent baby bottle holder that isn't good for anything else -- it's not a cup holder for mom's drink (minus one star). mine is a twin traveller, but it's the same stroller, different patten and color on the seats. the only negative thing is the price (buy last year's model on sale). from Target.com I am the mother of six-month old twins and I live in a suburb of New York City. This stroller is the greatest tool we own, because where we live walking a lot is a requirement of life. from Amazon.com I spent quite some time researching double strollers and like another reviewer had narrowed my choices to the Peg Perego Aria, the Combi and the Maclaren. Ultimately I went with the Maclaren, mainly because my hubby and I liked the look of it, and also because there are so many extra touches (included footmuffs, rainguards, headrests etc). from Amazon.com I ruled out the combi because a friend of mine had it and I didn't like that the seats didn't sit straight up and that they seemed kind of flimsy {even when buckled in my daughter could stand straight up, the seat just moved up with her}. I ruled out the peg-perego because of online reviews about the basket dragging when too much stuff was in it, and also because when we put our 2 year old daughter in one at the store she seemed scrunched in. So I got the Maclaren and love it. Unfortunately, none of the stores around me carried either so I could not physically see what they looked like, or how easy to manouver each was. from Amazon.com I purchased the double techno XT because I already owned a single techno xt and loved it. I have a 2 1/2 year old and a six month old and I often travel alone with the two of them. from Amazon.com I spent a good amount of time reviewing the many side by side strollers on the market. With two boys the Maclaren offered all the features that I wanted in a stroller. Full recline with leg extensions for my little one and a nice wide seat for my big guy so he's not cramped up in there like a sardine. from Amazon.com
