I have used this car seat for about 6 months now and LOVE IT! My son is huge for his age (23lbs and 30inches at 6mo.)so we have had to get a convertible seat for him. I would recommend this seat to anyone! from Elitecarseats.com This was an excellent car seat - we had another but this was (by far) better and more comfortable for my son. Also, the Chicco fits nicely in the middle seat of my BMW 3-series, and I can still have 2 adult passengers in the back. I did read others review of the canopy issue before I bought it but everything else is great so it was worth it. My son just grew out of this car seat at 1 year (length) but has about 9 lbs before he reached the 30 lbs. The travel system stroller is probably not one I would have picked on my own but I did buy it out of convenience to match our carseat. from Amazon.com This seat does not clip onto shopping carts but it is considered unsafe to place your car seat on top of the cart rather than inside it anyway. Installation was really simple and secure with the latch system and the adjustable tilt on the bottom. The only drawback I found is that although the seat holds a child up to 30lb, it also has a length (height) limit of 30 inches.
