This is our second Graco travel system. I love the material of the stroller and car seat. from Amazon.com We purchased this stroller system (in a different color) in 2006. I still love it. from Amazon.com My wife and I recently had our first child. As her due date approached (Nov 7, 2008) we started shopping around for all the necessary products, including strollers and car seats. Once we settled on getting a travel system (based on various recommendations from friends), we shopped around at local stores for the right one. from Amazon.com After ordering and returning 2 different travel systems, this one finally met our approval. We are expecting a little girl in February and wanted something really nice but definitely NOT over-the-head pink/purple girly...if you know what I mean. from Amazon.com I ordered this Dec 4th...it shipped Dec 5th...and we received it by 9am via FedEx on Dec 6th. This was FREE Amazon shipping!!! The box was in perfect condition, not crushed like another reviewer. My husband and I immediately put it together in no time. from Amazon.com I purchased the quattro tour travel system a few months ago, and realized the stroller is a lot bigger than I expected, it takes up almost the entire trunk of my car. The SnugRide car seat is great, but I realized that the Graco SafeSeat can handle a higher infant weight (30lb instead of the 22lbs the SnugRide handles). from Amazon.com When we began shopping for a travel system for our son, safety was our primary qualification. The SnugRide car seat has consistently been rated the safest infant carseat, and the base makes transitioning the baby from the car to anywhere else a breeze. from Amazon.com This is my 3rd baby so I have learned a few things from the other two. If you need a stroller for shopping trips, get a snap and go (or the like). These travel systems aren't really practical for short trips to the grocery store. I bought this travel system for walks around the neighborhood. from Amazon.com 1) The car seat is too heavy. Forget about carrying it. 2) The travel system itself is huge.
