I purchased the Tri-Mode with a toddler seat about 5 months ago for my newborn and 2-year old toddler and have been very happy with it. I was not interested in purchasing a tandem double-stroller or a side-by-side, as my toddler was not using a stroller much anymore and generally prefers to walk; but we needed something that could serve as an occasional double-stroller. from Joggingstroller.com I purchased my Valco Runabout Tri Mode about 5 months ago. I am so glad I chose the Valco Runabout TriMode. Some of my requirements for a double stroller were: could handle outdoor terrain and occasional jogging, swivel or fixed wheel, good *individual* sun canopies, full recline for my baby, front bar, and able to fit through standard doorways. from Joggingstroller.com It became even more of a tight squeeze for both kids after we installed their footmuffs for the winter months but I suppose that is the tradeoff we have to make for a double stroller that is able to fit into doorways of old homes and aisles of cramped markets. The rain/wind cover was ridiculously hard to put on and the stroller did not come with instructions. I called Valco but no one called me back! I like the one step brake too. I really haven't had to use the tri mode front wheel feature, I keep it on swivel.
