I have the 2006 Urban Double and even after using it for a year, I still love this stroller. It is very easy to push, even on grass and uneven surfaces. My 3 year old is quite tall and he still sits comfortably in the stroller. The fact that it fits through standard doorways and is so easy to turn means that it works very well in malls and shops. I have had no issues with tires deflating and only pump them every few months. I agree that it is heavy and difficult to load into a vehicle, but I'm not very large and load it without too much effort. Also, it has plenty of storage. The things I don't like are: - The brake is very difficult to engage and disengage when wearing sandals because it's just metal with no plastic covering. - The canopy does not stay up very well. - The little strap that you use to secure the stroller when folded is difficult to find when the stroller is folded up. (It's black and my stroller is dark blue) from Joggingstroller.com This stroller is quite nice, except for a couple things: the sunhood doesn't stay on, and the stroller is quite bulky and heavy. I also bought the twin bassinet, and have the same problem with the hood - it falls when there's a smallest bump on the road. It can get quite annoying - you have to fix it every several minutes. Our toddler enjoys the smooth ride and he doesn't have any problems napping in it. The stroller is easy to maneuver in both open and tight spaces - I can push it with one hand and it turns on a dime. It's quite easy to open and close, though it is heavy and bulky, as far as lifting it into the back of my SUV. But it is a double, so the weight and bulk are par for the course I suppose. My only frustration is that it seems like we have to pump the back two tires nearly every other time we use the stroller. It's not difficult to do, just a bit of a hassle. from Joggingstroller.com Love the stroller, excellent manuverability. What I dislike is airing the tires. The nozzle does not stick out far enough from the tire on 3 of four wheels making adding air quite a challenge. I think it is a tire defect and while I should have sent them back, I did not want the touble of doing so. I had to take the tires to a local biclcle store and have them pull out the air nozzle so we could fill it up. When I tried at home to pull them out, the nozzles kept sinking back into the tires thus making it impossible to fill. I think they were not assembled correctly at the plant. Very anoying considering the price of the stroller. I suggest you fill the tires before you ship the stroller then you will be aware of the tire defect in advance and it won't be so frustrating to your customers. from Joggingstroller.com Easy to assemble, solid, a breeze to manuver on a variety of surfaces and locations. Very pleased with performance, safety and comfort. from Joggingstroller.com Generally, we have been happy with our Mountain Buggy. It maneuvers well and we can get through doorways with ease. We do have one big complaint related to the buckles used to adjust and secure the seats and undercarriage basket. Ours have broken - more than once. We contacted customer service and they sent new buckles. We had to take the seats off (not an easy task) in order for them to be repaired. Once repaired, we found it impossible to get the buckles through the new straps, so we can no longer adjust the seats as we have resorted to knotting the straps together. While we love the design of the stroller, it seems that for the money, the company could come up with a more durable way to secure/adjust the seats - and could be more responsive to customer complaints. In response to other reviews, I will also note that our 3 year old has nearly outgrown the stroller and is no longer comfortable in it, which has become a challenge on long walks/jogs. from Joggingstroller.com I love the handling and easy turning. We have had it in some tight spots and can always get it out. We have also had it on some rougher terrain at some parks and it has no problems. It cleans easily and works for our 3 year old as well as our 3 month old. The basket has a good amount of room for a double. I do miss my cup holders and tray from my single stroller. It is a little heavier and bulkier than my old stroller but I expected that. My only major complaint is the smell that the tires have. They are made of recycled rubber and have an overwhelming smell. I keep my stroller in the back of my SUV and the smell was terrible at first. I worried about my kids breathing it in. It has started to dissipate but we still have to keep the windows down sometimes to air it out. We haven't used it yet for jogging as our 3 month old is still too small for that. A couple of improvements could be to include storm cover with purchase and to extend the storage underneath the seats out a little bit so that it easier to access. Would recommend getting the sun visor accessory as sun protection is not great without it. Stroller is super heavy, big and awkward when folded.
