Before I bought this stroller for my 19 month-old and 5 month-old daughters, I searched for weeks for the "RIGHT" stroller. I read many of reviews and tested a dozen of strollers. I was so happy to see how compact the box this stroller came in. I liked it a lot at first. It's relatively light, sturdy, easy to maneuver, fits through standard size doors, has great design, with seats that are easy to adjust and can recline to an almost-flat position, and best of all my daughters can sit next to each other and I get not 1 but 2 cup holders. The folding mechanism is relatively easy; it takes a lot of force in the begining to bend but it gets easier with time. It has a split basket that has metal bars across the bottom, so you really can't fit much underneath. The first day I had it one of the cup holders broke as I was trying to squeeze through a narrow corridor. I was glad to receive a free replacement from the manufacturer and a nice apology. Soon after, both cup holders broke while the stroller was stowed in the trunk of my car. I guess the body of the stroller pressed against the cup holders that are very weak and wrongly positioned. I guess you can't have everything. Baby Planet charges for additional cup holders and shipping too. The Bottom Line: A good double stroller, with some flaws. from Shopping.com This stroller is great because it has the one-hand steering so I can push my twins and hold my toddlers hand. I haven't seen this in another mid-price stroller. I think it only compares to the Twin Techno McClaren (it has similar price - I think cheaper, and construction- folds the same way, etc.) and outpaces it in several ways; - I think it looks much better - It is much more sturdy-feeling which gives it a more quality appearance than the McClaren - Has cup holders - The seats are much more padded and adjust to any postion not just five - The belts are much easier to use- not as flimsy and twisted up- and have more practical padding. However, this could use only the UV protection on the canopies to completely outpace the McClaren. It is also is a little heavy and cumbersome to fold, but I attribute this to what appears to be sturdier, better materials used to make it. The McClaren beside it just looks flimsy. It could use a snack tray too and baskets that accomodate larger diaper bags. Overall, I would strongly recommend this stroller to any parent, particularly one with more than two children, multiples or someone who walks a pet. from Target.com For every parent who has ever used a double stroller...you understand the challenges they bring. Well this is a double stroller that is much easier to use! I love the handle...it is sooo easy to steer! The small center wheel gives you just that tad bit more room, so you don't kick the wheel while you're walking. The kids are comfy too. I also have the Solo Deluxe and I love them both! I then moved on to a Maclaren Twin and couldn’t believe how awkward it was to steer. When I found the Unity Sport, I thought the handle looked interesting and since it was at a much better price than Maclaren I decided to try it. Wow! What a difference. It pushes and turns easier than I ever expected. It even pushes straight with my different age kids in it. The Maclaren tended to pull to one size (I assume because my kids are different ages and different sizes). I can’t wait for this company to start making things other than strollers. from Target.com These are comments from my personal experience. I have tried a total of 15 double strollers and have now given up. I have a 9 month old that's 25 lbs and a 2.5 year old that's 39 lbs. Short summary: I quickly ordered this stroller after reading the review about it from about.com. After receiving it, I really did like it. The style was different, the product seemed up to par but after one use, I quickly changed my mind. Looks can be decieving. Pros: Unique style, chairs/seats were long enough for my tall 2.5 year old (my kid's 40'' tall), canopy was good size and covered sun well, handle for parents to push was comfortable and the cup holders were a plus. Cons: Aluminum sides were flimsy and bent after one use, velcro that keep the canopy intact frayed and started to rip after one outting (they need a better design for attaching the canopy), kids' shoulder and lap pad seemed neat in picture but made my kids' look like martians, kept having to readjust the bottom of the seat padding where legs sit against... those were the main probs. I wouldnt recommend this stroller. at least not for the price. from Target.com
