I use this scope in shooting. I can find 22 caliber holes at 200 yards. The only thing I would like to add, is a 60 power eyepiece with longer eye relief. from Adorama.com I have been able to observe wildlife from a secure vantage point even under reasonably low light conditions. The focus and zoom are very simple, user-friendly, and easy to do in the field. The Celestron Ultima 80 gave me the 'wow' factor I thought I was going to see in Raven and only saw in the highest end scopes.
