Channel mismatch is everywhere in the 32 and 64bit drivers, and the 64bit drivers cause 32 bit programs to stop working (everything from Windows Media Player to Internet Explorer).

no mixing support for separate channels other thoughts: i had to alsaconf into the card as mepis linux 32bit edition didn't activate the card on boot, mostly due i think to issues with crossfired radeonhd 3850's that also have hda outputs.
