I brought this card because my onboard card died, I like this card. The setup was easy, the sound is ok in games, videos, music. My only gripe Is the plug jacks on the back for the mic from Jr.com My on board sound went out and this was an inexpensive quick fix. from Jr.com This sound card is a top value for the price, performance and ease of use. Easy installation into a PCI slot and with the simple software included, you will be up and running in minutes!! from Tigerdirect.com if looking for a low cost basic sound card that works well and has dual outputs, this is it. only a couple $$'s more than the lowest cost ones and a real nice piece. from Tigerdirect.com figured out the command line for Mplayer it worked perfectly. It was a bit tough finding the command line because I have onboard audio and now this sound card. Now I can get surround sound (AC3/Dolby from Amazon.com
