The best thing about it to me is that the crosscut shreds coming out pack much better than the full-length strips that my old one made.

the only complaints we have are that: (1) the bucket/basket for the shredded paper could be sturdier; and (2) the confetti shreds could be smaller than 1.5" long (we knew the size when we bought shredder, we just wish they were smaller in length).
