I bought this for $10 more at [an electronics store] to replace an older Aurora shredder. I will be returning it tomorrow. from Target.com Kind of loud, but I put up with it. Hasn't jammed or anything yet but I think I overheated it once because it stopped working until the next day. Something in the manual says something about a limit on number of sheets of paper per day I think. But itwasn't that much of a bother. from Circuitcity.com we bought this shredder yesterday and it broke last night. It kept getting jammed and we had to take a fork to get it all out. We were only shredding at mos 4 papers at most, even though it says 7 is allowed. No issues here! from Circuitcity.com The base of this shredder is held on by 4 tiny screws with a flimsy base. Paper was falling through the bottom and the base broke off after 1 day. from Circuitcity.com easy to use and works well. from Circuitcity.com After shredding only 10 to 15 documents, this thing will easily overheat and shut off for 15 minutes. I had a stack of documents I wanted to shred, so this made things quite annoying. from Amazon.com I do like this shredder it is perfect for shredding daily mail items with information I do not want to get in the wrong hands. I also like that it doesn't have blades that are exposed so no worry about cutting fingers or anything. from Amazon.com
