This shredder jammed up repeatedly, often after being fed only one or two sheets of paper. Unjamming it is a huge pain.

Cutting with scissors is time consuming and not garunteed. I had shoe boxes full of banking, medical, and other important info. The shredder took care of all of them. Even though it does not cross cut, you can't makeout what was on the sheets.
Product works great. It is compact, easy to use, has never gotten jammed, and, as I said - does the trick!Takes a number of pages at a time and basket holds fair amount of shredded pages, so you don't have to empty too often (unless, of course, you want to!)
