Best Shavers for Body
When you are looking for an electric shaver for body hair, don't assume that all shavers are created equal. There are electric shavers designed specifically for the body that offer different features than shavers meant for the face. Those designed to shave body hair often come with a variety of attachments that will trim hair to different lengths, and can be used without any attachments for a close, smooth shave. Shavers designed for the face are better equipped to shave stubble, and most would not work well at all on hair of any notable length. Most face shavers feature a pop up beard trimmer, but it is largely unsuitable for trimming body hair, so don't try to get a shaver for double-duty.
There are two different styles of electric shavers; linear and rotary. Linear shavers have 2 or 3 long foil bands with blades underneath, while rotary shavers have three separate heads that pivot and swivel. Generally, if your hair grows out thick and in many different directions, rotary shavers are very good at taking all the hair off in a very short time because they shave in many angles and directions simultaneously. Linear shavers generally offer a closer shave than rotary shavers, but are less effective on longer hair. Finally, if you have sensitive skin look, for shavers specially designed for sensitive skin and delicate areas of the body, as blades of any kind can chafe!
