i don't know what wet, electrical shaving would offer that dry doesn't so i can't comment if this is a good thing or not.

to tell you the truth, i'm afraid of electrical devices near my face, so i use a regular shaver for that and store it in a separate drawer with other non-electrical items so it doesn't become corrupt.
