my old trimmer used to leave hairs partially trimmed and for the 2-3 days after trimming i'd be plucking broken ends off of my beard (sounds bizarre...figured it was normal).

one of the annoyances, besides the sound it makes, is that it sends your hair flying everywhere across the bathroom.

the smaller trimmer is noisy, and the blades don't seem to be as sharp or as clean-cutting as the large blades, but since i don't use it for anything but detail stuff, it has been good.

this trimmer seems almost identical to the old mb-50, except that it is much quieter and trims much neater.

since it is getting on in age, getting noisy, and not holding a charge as long, i've decided to replace it with a newer model.
