i will tell you what anyone who gave this shaver a bad review must be cracked, i have never been able to use a electric shaver because my beard is so heavy every one i used didn't even touch it, just
for the heavy price tag i expected a better product.

i have found this latest norelco to be lightweight, comfortable to hold and to the point - it gives me a very good shave.

this new shaver is fundamentally the same, except that it is dramatically more expensive and has a bulky cleaning base that is of dubious value.

braun cleaner is bulky, more expensive, will run you at least $10 for a 2-pack and you can't really stretch the life too much b/c alcohol based, will evaporate over time whether you use it or not,
i am not using the stand as it takes too much space, but once charged with portable charger it runs for about 3 weeks before it needs be recharged.
but a good choice if you skip a few days between shaves -- rotary shavers as a whole do a much better job over heavy growth than a foil.

pros: it is lightweight and a wet/dry shaver so you can shave in or out of the shower if you need to.
