Best Shavers for Rotary Shavers

i found that foil shavers, at least on my face, did a much better job getting in close than the rotary shavers.

i previously owned 2 different norelco rotary shavers and found them to be just "fair" in closeness....good for a six hour shave, used when i wanted to avoid the blade.

recently, i decided to try several of the new rotary shavers and they were just ok.

i have a moderately tough/thick beard and the rotary shavers that i've tried do not operate at a high enough rpm, resulting in the hair being pulled out rather than cut (ouch).

i have had 2 norelco rotary shavers, both of which gave mediocre shaves.

i have previously used norelco rotary shavers and find the panasonic to shave closer but only marginally faster.

this was top rated for rotary shavers.

normally i do not write reviews but this norelco 8160xl speed xl mens rechargeable shaver is one of the best electric shavers i have ever used and being over 50 years old i have used many including

he has no razor burn, and no tugging like some of the rotary shavers do, and is much happier.

but a good choice if you skip a few days between shaves -- rotary shavers as a whole do a much better job over heavy growth than a foil.
