i have not used the small foil shaver attachment, though i worry that it would be difficult to clean.
it also includes a beard/moustache/eyebrow trimmer, a nose and ear hair trimmer, a precision detailing cutter, a mini shaver, a nice stand and a cleaning brush.
either way it could discomforting for some folks
also, the plastic base is surprisingly flimsy and easy to tip over -- if it were of heavier material, or if it were redesigned so that it could hang from a wall, it might be more utile.
and it's easy to clean.
i have very sensitive skin and it seems like redness, irritation, and problems was my destiny, but then i randomly searched for an electric shaver for sensitive skin.
excellent shaver for sensitive skin and a great value.
it gives me outstanding shaves cutting close, including on the neck, without any irritation at all.
i've had it for nearly 2 months and i'm still on the 1st cleaning cartridge.
it costs about $5 per month for the cleaning solution.
- the cleaning solution i hear can be pricey, the hygiene meter is a bit sensitive, after a few shaves it says to clean it, i don't think that's necessary.
it performed great, the self-cleaning is a breeze and cleans the head perfectly, the led indicator is informative, and it is alwsys charged in the base.
-- the orange "time to clean" light comes on after each use.
also, i liked that you could wash it under the sink, rather than having to use the cleaning fluid systems that the newer braun razors use.
unlike one of the reviewers, i think the light-weight of the shaver and the flip-top (for cleaning) are both positive aspects of the shaver.
