Its auto sensing speed feature was terrible, and after a month or so of use was not able to run without being plugged in. Then a couple months later just keeps stopping while trimming. I have to restart it 10 times to trim my beard. I just ordered a wahl to replace it. from Drugstore.com I've since seen other reviews where people had the same problems. One person even got taken twice like I did. The bottom line is I'm through with Conair for good. from Amazon.com It doesn't do the job it is supposed to do. The first one had my hair cought in the trimmer bldes and was not sharp enough. So then I called conair customer service, they promised to send me a new trimming blades which I never received. from Amazon.com I've since seen other reviews where people had the same problems. I just ordered a wahl to replace it. from Drugstore.com Pros: Easy To Use Cons: Won't run long Bottom Line: not recommended I am now about to send our SECOND unit back which does the same thing as the first one shipped...after being fully charged, runs for a short time and then cuts off for no reason and won't restart! from Drugstore.com
