First of all, this product, when using one of the shortest settings possible, leaves lines going through the hair and takes a VERY long time to cut the hair enough so that the lines disappear. Second, the battery, when fully charged, only lasts a maximum of 10 minutes, and during these 10 minutes, it has very low power, so you have to use the adapter. from Walmart.com far better than wahl's adjustable model-- which cuts hair painfully and badly. works well, feels robust. from Amazon.com This was a GREAT value for the price//26 settings,hands free no "cord"so easy to cut your own hair or someone elses.
