love panasonic, had one before but, ruined it when i took it to germany and used the wrong voltage converter.
summary: the panasonic reputation is apparent in this shaver.
to completely replace a razor, but to use at times when a blade razor was not handy to use (in the office, etc.) but because it was a reliable brand like panasonic, i decided to give it a try.
i bought my first panasonic wet/dry shaver probably 5 or 6 years ago; not the same model as this but the precursor to it.

i have had an older version of panasonic shaver and i like it.
it is very easy to clean weaknesses: none summary: (edited august 10th by rabbit2000bear) i have used several electric shavers over the years and have found that panasonic does the best for me.
i have used the panasonic procurve elite wet/dry shaver (es8162s) for several weeks.

i bought the panasonic shaver for my husband.
i purchased this panasonic shaver about 1 month ago and have been very happy with it.
i bought the first generation of this panasonic shaver many years ago (~10y) in japan (~$200) and it stil works fine.
it doesn't shave quite as close as my old panasonic model es762 but is faster and easier on my face.
i had a panasonic linear model prior to this, which operated at 13k rpm, and this one seems like it's slower and takes a bit longer to shave than with the other one.
i've had a few of the panasonics and like them far better than braun and remington.
i had a nice panasonic high-speed shaver in the past and was very satisfied.
the panasonic does okay on the face but a terrible job on neck whiskers, even using the razor with shaving cream, it cuts up and irritates my neck something fierce.
pros: much heavier blades than on my first panasonic waterproof shaver.
the lightweight materials used (cheap plastic) versus my $129.00 home panasonic shaver remind me that this is a $30 unit, but frankly it serves its purpose.
