This machine has them programmed in and you only need to make changes if you want to tweak something.

At some points, the machine would stop at the end of each letter, but most of the time it completed the whole word I'd programmed in.

I did some sewing and it works great I did hook up the embroidery part and and ran through the programming portion but did not sew with it as without the threader it would be a lot of trouble to constantly have to change thread by hand!@!!
