it is also so much easier to make a shirt with this i just run it through the serger and then i reinforce the seams with my standard sewing machine with a straight stitch.

this machine is packed with a lot of bells & whistles and looks promising at first glance, but when it comes to plain 'ol straight stitch, for some reason the machine can't handle it.
some drawbacks are that it is pretty darn loud and it moves across the table making it a little hard to sew in a straight line.
