Best Sewing Machines for Cutting

i am surprised at how well this machine sews, how much fun the little features are: automatic threading cassette, automatic thread cutter-what a blessing!.

every once in a while while i'm embroidering, the machine doesn't move properly and i have to end up cutting a big hole in the fabric to remove it from the machine.

the hoop size is only 4x4 which can be prohibitive, but for my use it is fine.since i use it a lot for clothing, i love the buttonholer and button features and the auto cutter is convenient.if you

the thread cutter is more conveniently located than any machine i've ever had.

and the thread cutter isn't on the shank like other machines, it's on the left side!

although, i did buy a larger size needle for that at the suggestion of a store employee who was cutting the vinyl for me.

pros: threads easily, nice stitches, smooth sewing, good accessories, holds tensions cons: unclear instruction manual, difficult to disengage cutter, difficult getting some parts, poor customer

both of my brothers are extremely user friendly, amazing value for the price, wonderful highend features, awesome stitch selection, wonderful auto-thread cutter, reinforcement/reverse stitching,

this machine is pure convenience and having a switch to control the cutting blade instead of manually lifting it is a major plus!

i can see it's important to clean/brush out the threading/cutting area after or before each use, which is no problem to do.

the cutter works well, and the attachable container that catches the cut edges is in a good position - in front - so that edges do not fall to the floor.
