it makes a beautiful stich and is very easy to thread.
the manual is clear and well illustrated, the price is right, and it sews fine stiches.
i compared the stiches this machine produced to my sister's bernina which costs $500 and found there was practically no difference.
this came out of the box colored threaded so it made it easy to see how the stiches were made.
instead, it puts way too many uneven stiches over the raw edge.
it has a wonderful amount of stiches and back stitching is super easy.
i love all the stich options.
great decorative stiches.
the push button stich choice is easy and fabulous.
light weight and very well done with multiple stich functions..
i'll admit the appeal was the many stich options and letter monogramming feature (don't know that i'll ever use the disney character options) but i have yet to try out the embroidery set
i have tried all the regular stiches and some of the embroidery stiches - they all come out perfectly.
lots of different stiches, just amazing.
things about this machine are: it cuts the tread for you, you can set the machine to sew by pushing 1 button, so easy to put spin the thread on the bobbin and my favorite thing is satin stiching.
i, however, couldn't sew a straight stich, much less thread a sewing machine.
this machine is so easy to use and so light i bought this as a temporary 1 for the big 1 i already have and this lil 1 sews just as good it doesnt do all the facy stich work others do but it has good
it sews very well with a blindhem stich and zigzags.
very straightforward, nothing terribly fancy, but it has a nice zig zag feature and a couple of different stich lengths.
it runs quietly, and the slow 550 stiches per minute speed means you have more control as a beginner.
i think 500 stiches per minute, but that also makes it perfect for young sewers.
this machine you will give you nice stiches, you don't have to worry about your project falling apart.
i took the time to read through the user manual which helped learn how to use the decorative stiches.
i am very happy it does different straight stiches as well as zigzags, button holes and even will sew on a button, also has a mending foot........not too shabby for the price it cost!!!!
the only drawbacks are: 1) limited options regarding stiching, 2) the machine does not run very smoothly and 3)it is quite loud.
the only thing is i wished it had was a few more types of stiches.
i had problems with how tight it was stiching but once i read the instuctions then i figured it out.
easy to deal with, very light but at the same time very strong to work with heavy fabrics, the stiches are really nice and is very friendly with beginers like me!.
i love my brother sewing machine, it has many built in stiches and many sewing foot options.
contrary to the singer the brother machine is quiter, doesn't let the table vibrate and doesn't tangle up the stiches like my singer does.
no threading hassels, loose stiches or snaping threads, all taken care.
the stiches are perfect.
my wife is delighted with this machine's ability to do many, many stiches and buttonholes and all the features that she did not have available to her on the singer.
i have not had the chance to use all of the stich functions.
i bought this machine as it had a good price, and i wanted more variety of stiches, and some other modern features.
to my surprise it was a mini sewing machine with bobins and buttons stich removing tools and needles.
it stiched through three layers of fabric with no problem.
i was able to sew one thing, a pillow and after that i have not been able to get the darn thig to make stiches since!
but, this item was not fit for even a simple straight stiching with a linen.
