only thing i do not like was the zipper attachment not sturdy enough for me so i actually replaced it with the regular zipper foot i use on my other machine.
i would highly recommend this machine to someone who is new to sewing, but really intends to get into it and wants a machine that will be fun and easy to use, as well as sturdy and capable of sewing
this is a solid, well built machine.
my favorites are the automatic threader, the adjustable sewing speed (you can go real slow when working on something intricate), the auto thread cutter and the one touch reverse stitch.
durable, precise and much more.
not heavy duty enough.
i am a beginning sewer, but can already tell that this is a heavy-duty machine that will do many great things- there are lots of features i love about it, and the computerized functions and stitch
it has plenty of functions--utility & decorative stitches & 4 built-in buttonholes--and comes with lots of accessories, including special presser feet.
i was accustomed to an old heavy duty singer.
i think it was worth the price i paid, but glad i've kept my sturdy old white machine too.
the machine seems very durable and so far has lasted for the month.
i have used them to decorate clothing for my granddaughter.
as others have written here, the hello kitty sewing machine is a well-made, durable product that runs quietly.
like the other users said, this machine is not cheaply made at all, it is very sturdy and pretty heavy for such a little thing.
i tried it out first and absolutely love it as a durable, easy to use, quiet, smooth-running machine.
(my old brothers made a racket.) it is well made by janome, a huge name in sewing machines, and is a grab at this price!
it's portable, being a 1/2 size; it's surprisingly sturdy and well-made and quiet, typical janome (also sold without the hello kitty design as the janome sew mini); the instructions are very clear;
this is well worth the money, very heavy, sturdy machine and has a plastic cover included to keep it dust free.
i love the decorative stitches it allows you to make.
its easy to thread, easy to operate, the bobbin is sturdy and functions well.
it's a pretty sturdy machine, has a good weight to it, and works like a dream!
this machine looks just as well made although it is reconditioned.
on the downside, it has a lot of plastic parts which may not be durable.
i gave durability a five even thoung it's only been only six months.
it does a beautiful job.on the downside, it has a lot of plastic parts which may not be durable.
the only down side is that the machine seems very fragile (however, that may not be exclusive or a negative to this machine...
the machine is heavy duty yet so light.
pros: easy to use, lots of special features, durable and dependable.
i didn't buy this to be an embroidery machine, but the decorative stitches it has are very nice.
my second machine was not heavy duty enough for what i do now.
it is very self explanatory, easy to follow directions, and well made.
the sewing area is wide and sturdy.
it has a lot of cute decorative stitches and a couple built in alphabets in addition to the usual utility stitches.
