other than that it is easy to use and seems fairly durable and user friendly.
i have three brother machine's including the embroidery/sewing machine and love their affordability, durability and ease of use.
threading a serger is and will always be a more complex process than threading a sewing machine.
only thing i do not like was the zipper attachment not sturdy enough for me so i actually replaced it with the regular zipper foot i use on my other machine.
i would highly recommend this machine to someone who is new to sewing, but really intends to get into it and wants a machine that will be fun and easy to use, as well as sturdy and capable of sewing
this is a solid, well built machine.
my favorites are the automatic threader, the adjustable sewing speed (you can go real slow when working on something intricate), the auto thread cutter and the one touch reverse stitch.
