I purchased this as an exchange for a Singer that I bought ... I returned the Singer after two days because I was having so many issues. from Target.com I bought this machine a couple years ago and I still have it. It is a great beginner machine. from Target.com Okay, I'd say this is an excellent machine though I've only had it for one day. My other machine broke and it was a euro-pro so i was definitely hesitant, but this machine is way too good for the price i got it for. I sew for a designer and i do a lot of heavy duty projects and i've been able to get back to work sewing for her again with this machine. from Target.com i was really hesitant to buy the shark sewing machine after reading the reviews but i ended up buying it anyways. i tried it and it worked pretty well. from Target.com After 2 more seams, the bottom thread kept getting stuck in the bobbin assembly. After 1 more try, the bobbin assembly pretty much locked up. I'm returning it today and will not be buying another Shark. from Target.com Okay, I just got back from the store and I am reviewing this machine vs. another one. This machine, the shark has all of the stitch designs that I'm looking for. You can't tell from the picture b/c it doesn't zoom close in enough, but it has lots. from Amazon.com but i'm also no novice im only 22 and i've been sewing for god only knows how many years and i went to high school for it but read the manual and everything is pretty easy to follow. from Target.com after using it i was really happy that bought this machine.it sews smoothly and it comes with both length and width control of the stitch.i can't wait to do projects with this machine.heavy fabrics from Target.com i was skeptical of the brand, but the machine is good and sturdy. from Target.com i sew for a designer and i do a lot of heavy duty projects and i've been able to get back to work sewing for her again with this machine. from Target.com
