I've done about 5 hours sewing on this machine and now it comes up with a F2 fault code and the machine won't work. According to the manual I have to contact the Brother service department.... I've also never encounted such problems with the cotton getting tangled around the top spool nor had the needle unthread it self. from Amazon.com I am a professional seamstress & I LOVE my new Brother CE 4000. It has given me more inspiration to do my only line of work & wish I have gotten it long ago. from Amazon.com I works great but recently broke one of it's belts. Needlesstosay it was going to take a week to get a new one, and being in the middle of a project, I needed something quickly. I picked up this model by Brother. It will take some getting used to compared to the 35 yr old one but, once I get the hang of it I think it will be a great addition. from Amazon.com it is really good at sewing thick fabrics. from Amazon.com the machine is heavy duty yet so light. from Amazon.com it's everything i wanted and then some and so easy to use. from Amazon.com super light weight, (especially compared to the 40lb older one), and easy to use, great easy to follow instructions, and awsome additional stitches i am excited to use it more. from Amazon.com i got this machine mainly to do buttonholes (i use a serger for most of my sewing). from Amazon.com it doesn't do well with thick fabric or several layers of light fabric. from Amazon.com the only thing i don't like on this model is that every time you stop, it stops with the needle down in the fabric and you must turn the hand wheel to move it up. from Amazon.com
