Pros: All metal construction, easy simple function controls (I'm not at all mechanical or experienced) from Shopping.com i never tried any other sewing machine, so i cant compare with anything, but i think this machine sews great! i bought it a while back, and at first this machine was in the storage because i had a hard time threading this thing, but after i learned how to do so, im very impressed with it. i see that they changed the color, but mine was all metal construction, and im sure this is too..its hard to find metal exterior sewing machines now a days..since they started making plastic exterior..anyways..on other reviews on other sites on this sewing machine..there were complaints on it not being able to sew denim and whatnot..but if you set the thread tension and pressure foot correctly..it will work fine. be sure that you have size 16 needle in it. from Target.com I have owned this sewing machine for 3 years now. I have sewn clothing, drapes, and heavy denim and fleece. I have NEVER had any problems with it. from Amazon.com Horrible! Claims to sew through denim, but didn't come anywhere close.
