Best Brother Sewing Machines for Curtain

very good beginner machine and it's durable.

it is clearly not designed for heavy duty work, but i am only interested is doing small jobs so it's perfect for me.

it is sturdy and i love it!

it's obvious it's for first-time users, but it's still durable and works great.

it has plenty of functions--utility & decorative stitches & 4 built-in buttonholes--and comes with lots of accessories, including special presser feet.

i was accustomed to an old heavy duty singer.

i think it was worth the price i paid, but glad i've kept my sturdy old white machine too.

although the machine is very light and easy to carry, it doesn't feel or look cheaply made.

when i lifted the box and took out what seemed to be very light flimsy machine i thought to myself here we go....until i set it up and started to use it.

the decorative stitches are fun, but it did take a bit of time to tweak my sewing style to the computerized system.

it's a little flimsy but does the job even though i have to fiddle with it a bit to get the arm to wrap around the needle.

this was my christmas gift, so i haven't had a chance to do more than check it out and i can't comment on durability.

other than that it is easy to use and seems fairly durable and user friendly.

i have three brother machine's including the embroidery/sewing machine and love their affordability, durability and ease of use.

threading a serger is and will always be a more complex process than threading a sewing machine.

the only thing is if you do a lot of heavy duty sewing, then this machine may have trouble going through thicker fabrics.

it pulls material well once the tension is set appropriately, including my husband's heavy duty double reinforced jeans.

i previously had a brother machine that finally bit the dust after 26 years so i am hoping for comparable longevity.

this is so cheaply made and not at all user-friendly.
