Best Servers for Reliability

the hot swap drives make it very easy to add new storage and the server has been running quietly without crashing or tripping up for several weeks now.

hp has also provided operating system restoration/recovery disks for both pcs and the server.

re-mounting the drive is simple and only takes a few seconds once the mounting software is running.

iomega (and other manufactures) should pay more attention to linux operating system.

i have one pc running vista and a laptop running xp.

i have this drive up and running and attached to my ubuntu 8.10 (linux) laptop over ftp.
